Jailbreak iOS 4.2.1
1. Download iOS 4.2 ipsw corresponding to your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad here.
2. Download Redsn0w 0.9.6 b4 for Windows or Mac from Hotfile here.
3. Open Redsn0w and point it to the downloaded iOS 4.2.1 ipsw file.

4. If you have pointed it to the correct file, it will show something as given above. Click next.
5. At this point you need to check Install Cydia option and proceed.

ugh people please ……before you get service with t-mobile or whatever you need to turn off 3G service trust me people …thats the only way you can go since iphone doesnt support t-mobile 3G only t-mobile 2G ( Edge )
you can turn off by going to Settings<General<Network<Turn off 3G

Updating your 3G or 3GS to baseband 06-15-00 will cause a conflict with your GPS, rendering is useless.
